Fishers Tigers (Fishers, IN) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the host Franklin Central Flashes (Indianapolis, IN), 5-4 in a league test.

With the win, Fishers upgrades its record to 19-5 on the season. The Tigers travel to Homestead (Fort Wayne, IN) to battle the Spartans in a non-league test on Saturday, May 14. The Spartans come into the test with a record of 15-4. Homestead won 7-6 in their recent non-league test against Monroe Central (Parker City, IN)

With the defeat, Franklin Central falls to 3-12 on the season. The Flashes travel to Greenwood (Greenwood, IN) to battle the Woodmen in a non-league test on Monday, May 16.
