In Friday's league challenge, the Hauser Jets (Hope, IN) baseball squad edged the host South Decatur Cougars (Greensburg, IN), by a final score of 5-4.

With the win, Hauser upgrades its record to 13-8 on the season. The Jets travel to South Dearborn (Aurora, IN) to encounter the Knights in a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 14. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 13-5. South Dearborn won 9-3 in their recent league challenge against Connersville (Connersville, IN)

With the defeat, South Decatur falls to 16-4 on the season. The Cougars travel to North Decatur (Greensburg, IN) to encounter the Chargers in a Mid-Hoosier challenge on Monday, May 16.
