Virginia High School Soccer - Dan River nudges Galileo
May 13, 2022: Ringgold, VA 24586 Dan River Wildcats (Ringgold, VA) fans were thrilled Friday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Galileo (Danville, VA), 2-1 in a league challenge.
Next, the Wildcats confront the Martinsville Bulldogs (Martinsville, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, May 17. Dan River will attempt to better on its 4-8 season record. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a 4-13 record after their 3-1 league loss to Tunstall (Dry Fork, VA).
The now have a 3-7 record. They take the field next when they host Appomattox County for a Dogwood challenge on Monday, May 16. Galileo will confront a Raiders team coming off a 1-0 league win over Nelson County (Lovingston, VA). The Raiders record now stands at 12-1.
