May 13, 2022: Staunton, VA 24401 Staunton Storm (Staunton, VA) supporters were pleased Friday as they observed their soccer team prevail over the visiting Waynesboro Little Giants (Waynesboro, VA), 4-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Storm confront the Wilson Memorial Green Hornets (Fishersville, VA) in a Shenandoah challenge, on Monday, May 16. Staunton will attempt to move on its 11-3 season record. The Green Hornets enter the challenge with a 10-4 record after their 5-1 league win over Stuarts Draft (Stuarts Draft, VA).
The Little Giants now possess a 3-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Fort Defiance for a non-league challenge on Monday, May 16. Waynesboro will confront a Indians team coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Turner Ashby (Bridgewater, VA). The Indians record now stands at 8-5.
