Virginia High School Soccer - William Monroe nudges Warren County
May 13, 2022: Front Royal, VA 22630 William Monroe Dragons (Stanardsville, VA) fans were thrilled Friday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Warren County Wildcats (Front Royal, VA), 2-1 in a league challenge.
Next, the Dragons face the Meridian Mustangs (Falls Church, VA) in a Northwestern challenge, on Monday, May 16. William Monroe will attempt to better on its 13-1 season record. The Mustangs enter the challenge with a 10-0 record after their 7-0 league win over Brentsville District (Nokesville, VA).
The Wildcats now have a 5-8 record. They take the field next when they host Manassas Park for a Northwestern challenge on Tuesday, May 17. Warren County will face a Cougars team coming off a 8-0 league win over Skyline (Front Royal, VA). The Cougars record now stands at 7-7.
