Spectators at Friday's league match between the Central Knights (Providence, RI) and the host Block Island (New Shoreham, RI), witnessed Central's softball squad prevail over Block Island by a count of 20-8.

The Knights now sport a 11-1 record. They play next when they host Classical for a Division 3 match on Monday, May 16. Central will face a Purples squad coming off a 15-8 league loss to Mt. Pleasant (Providence, RI). The Purples record now stands at 5-6.
