Arkansas High School Softball - Atkins nudges Lamar
May 13, 2023: Atkins, AR 72823 Atkins Red Devils (Atkins, AR) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Lamar Warriors (Lamar, AR), 4-3 in a non-league challenge.
The Red Devils now own a 4-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Booneville for a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 18. Atkins will face a Bearcats squad coming off a 5-0 non-league win over Hackett (Hackett, AR). The Bearcats record now stands at 4-0.
With the loss, Lamar falls to 4-2 on the campaign.
