May 13, 2024: Mattawan, MI 49071 The Mattawan Wildcats smashed the visiting Kalamazoo Central Maroon Giants soccer squad by a margin of 8-2 in Monday's league match.
The Wildcats now own a 9-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. Joseph for a Southwestern Michigan - West game on Wednesday, May 15. Mattawan will play a Bears squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Portage Central (Portage, MI). The Bears record now stands at 8-5.
The Maroon Giants (4-9) will now prepare for their game against Lakeview (Battle Creek, MI). The Spartans go into the non-league game with a 4-8 record.
