Spectators at Monday's league match between the South Adams Starfires (Berne, IN) and the visiting Adams Central Flying Jets (Monroe, IN), witnessed South Adams's softball squad tip Adams Central by a count of 3-2.

The Starfires now sport a 17-3 record. They play next when they host New Haven for a non-league match on Tuesday, May 14. South Adams will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 21-1 league loss to Huntington North (Huntington, IN). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-21.
