May 13, 2024: Des Plaines, IL 60018 The Maine West Warriors softball team scored 6 runs and limited the visiting Elmwood Park Tigers to 0 in the Warriors non-league triumph on Monday.
With the triumph, Maine West improves its record to 18-3 on the year. The Warriors travel to Ridgewood (Norridge, IL) to clash with the Rebels in a non-league game on Wednesday, May 15. The Rebels come into the game with a record of 7-16. Ridgewood lost 17-1 in their recent non-league game against Taft (Chicago, IL)
In their next game, the Tigers clash with the Westmont Sentinels (Westmont, IL) in a Metro Suburban game, on Tuesday, May 14. Elmwood Park will attempt to improve on its 16-7 season record. The Sentinels come into the game with a 2-15 record after their 7-0 league loss to Riverside-Brookfield (Riverside, IL).
