Massachusetts High School Softball - Saugus holds off Northeast Metro RVT
May 13, 2024: Saugus, MA 01906 The Saugus Sachems (Saugus, MA) softball the visiting Northeast Metro RVT Knights (Wakefield, MA), 3-1 in Monday's non-league bout.
The Sachems (6-8) will now prepare for their bout against Swampscott (Swampscott, MA). The Big Blue go into the Northeast bout with a 4-7 record. In their last bout, Swampscott held off Melrose (Melrose, MA), 12-2, in a non-league bout.
The Knights now possess a 3-5 record. They play next when they travel to Greater Lawrence Tech for a non-league bout on Wednesday, May 15. Northeast Metro RVT will confront a Reggies squad coming off a 7-5 non-league win over Dracut (Dracut, MA). The Reggies record now stands at 9-5.
