Andrean Fighting 59ers (Merrillville, IN) fans left the game pleased Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the visiting Munster Mustangs (Munster, IN), 5-2 in a league match.

With the triumph, Andrean advances its record to 22-1 on the season. The Fighting 59ers host Nazareth Academy (LaGrange Park, IL) to battle the Roadrunners in a non-league match on Wednesday, May 14. The Roadrunners come into the match with a record of 24-5. Nazareth Academy won 9-1 in their recent non-league contest against Huntley (Huntley, IL)

The Mustangs now possess a 12-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Harrison for a non-league contest on Friday, May 16. Munster will confront a Raiders squad coming off a 14-4 non-league win over West Lafayette (West Lafayette, IN). The Raiders record now stands at 15-4.
