Michigan High School Baseball - Bear Lake sneaks past Mesick
May 13, 2025: Bear Lake, MI 49614 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Bear Lake Lakers (Bear Lake, MI) and the visiting Mesick Bulldogs (Mesick, MI), saw Bear Lake's baseball team get by Mesick by a tally of 9-8.
The Lakers (8-4) will now prepare for their battle against Glen Lake (Maple City, MI). The Lakers enter the non-league battle with a 13-5 record. In their last battle, Glen Lake held off West Catholic (Grand Rapids, MI), 6-5, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Bulldogs face the Benzie Central Huskies (Benzonia, MI) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, May 15. Mesick will attempt to upgrade on its 4-12 season record. The Huskies enter the battle with a 7-6 record after their 15-0 league win over Suttons Bay (Suttons Bay, MI).
