The Pike Central Chargers softball squad (Petersburg, IN), was routed 12-6 in Tuesday's league contest with the visiting North Posey Vikings (Poseyville, IN)

With the triumph, North Posey improves its record to 15-4 on the year. The Vikings travel to Boonville (Boonville, IN) to face the Pioneers in a Pocket contest on Thursday, May 15. The Pioneers enter the contest with a record of 10-8. Boonville lost 3-1 in their recent non-league contest against Castle (Newburgh, IN)

The Chargers now hold a 1-10 record. They play next when they travel to Forest Park for a Pocket contest on Thursday, May 15. Pike Central will face a Rangers squad coming off a 8-2 league loss to Heritage Hills (Lincoln City, IN). The Rangers record now stands at 4-12.
