Maine High School Softball - Old Town bounces Orono

In Tuesday's non-league match, the host Old Town Coyotes softball team scored a nice 8-0 win over the Orono Riots.

The Coyotes (3-3) will now prepare for their match against John Bapst Memorial (Bangor, ME). The Crusaders come into the Class B North match with a 4-4 record. In their last match, John Bapst Memorial was routed by Ellsworth (Ellsworth, ME), 9-1, in a league match.

In their next game, the Riots confront the George Stevens Academy Eagles (Blue Hill, ME) in a Class C North match, on Wednesday, May 14. Orono will attempt to better on its 4-4 season record.
