New York High School Softball - Wayland-Cohocton bounces Pavilion
May 13, 2025: Pavilion, NY 14525 The Wayland-Cohocton Eagles (Wayland, NY) softball routed the host Pavilion Golden Gophers (Pavilion, NY), 9-1 in Tuesday's non-league outing.
The Eagles now sport a 13-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Dansville for a Livingston County Division I outing on Wednesday, May 14. Wayland-Cohocton will encounter a Mustangs team coming off a 13-1 league loss to Livonia (Livonia, NY). The Mustangs record now stands at 0-12.
With the loss, Pavilion moves to 4-9 on the season. The Golden gophers host York (Retsof, NY) to encounter the Golden Knights in a Livingston County Div III outing on Wednesday, May 14. The Golden Knights come into the outing with a record of 5-10. York lost 15-3 in their recent non-league game against Warsaw (Warsaw, NY)
