In Wednesday's non-league match, the visiting Lawrence County Red Devils softball team scored a tight 11-6 win over the Boaz Pirates.

The Red Devils (43-9) will now prepare for their match against Ardmore (Ardmore, AL). The Tigers come into the non-league match with a 28-24 record. In their last match, Ardmore nipped Douglas (Douglas, AL), 13-0, in a non-league match.
