Waite Indians (Toledo, OH) backers left the game pleased Wednesday as they saw their softball squad thwart the host Start Spartans (Toledo, OH), 29-15 in a league game.

With the triumph, Waite upgrades its record to 5-8 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Bowling Green (Bowling Green, OH) to battle the Bobcats in a non-league bout on Thursday, May 14. The Bobcats go into the bout with a record of 7-14. Bowling Green won 17-2 in their recent league bout against Southview (Sylvania, OH)

In their next game, the Spartans battle the Bowsher Rebels (Toledo, OH) in a Toledo City bout, on Monday, May 18. Start will attempt to advance on its 2-7 season record. The Rebels go into the bout with a 9-7 record after their 21-1 non-league loss to Springfield (Holland, OH).
