Gunter Tigers (Gunter, TX) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the host Whitesboro Bearcats (Whitesboro, TX), 7-6 in a non-league test.

With the win, Gunter upgrades its record to 31-1 on the season. The Tigers travel to Maypearl (Maypearl, TX) to battle the Panthers in a non-league test on Saturday, May 21. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 21-8. Maypearl won 4-2 in their recent non-league test against Prairiland (Pattonville, TX)
