In Saturday's non-league contest, the Wallenpaupack Area Buckhorns (Hawley, PA) softball team held off the host North Pocono Trojans (Covington Township, PA), by a margin of 9-8.

With the triumph, Wallenpaupack Area moves its record to 11-0 on the year. The Buckhorns travel to Holy Cross (Dunmore, PA) to play the Crusaders in a non-league contest on Tuesday, May 17. The Crusaders come into the contest with a record of 0-0.

In their next game, the Trojans play the Scranton Knights (Scranton, PA) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, May 21. North Pocono will attempt to move on its 4-2 season record.
