Chaparral Cowboys (Las Vegas, NV) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Las Vegas Wildcats (Las Vegas, NV), 7-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Cowboys now own a 11-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Silverado for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, May 18. Chaparral will face a Skyhawks squad coming off a 9-6 non-league loss to Legacy (North Las Vegas, NV). The Skyhawks record now stands at 20-6.

With the loss, Las Vegas falls to 10-11 on the campaign.
