Delaware High School Softball - Newark bounces Mount Pleasant
May 14, 2024: Newark, DE 19711 The Newark Yellowjackets routed the visiting Mount Pleasant Green Knights softball squad by a count of 7-0 in Tuesday's league battle.
The Yellowjackets (7-7) will now prepare for their battle against Dickinson (Wilmington, DE). The Rams go into the non-league battle with a 6-9 record. In their last battle, Dickinson was routed by Odyssey Charter (Wilmington, DE), 14-0, in a non-league battle.
The Green Knights now sport a 4-13 record. They play next when they host Ursuline Academy for a non-league battle on Thursday, May 16. Mount Pleasant will meet a Raiders squad coming off a 6-3 non-league loss to Concord (Wilmington, DE). The Raiders record now stands at 4-13.
