Delaware High School Softball - Middletown bounces Mount Pleasant
March 26, 2024: Wilmington, DE 19809 The crowd at Tuesday's league match between the Middletown Cavaliers (Middletown, DE) and the host Mount Pleasant Green Knights (Wilmington, DE), saw Middletown's softball squad achieve victory over Mount Pleasant by a count of 15-0.
The Cavaliers now sport a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host Newark for a Blue Hen - Flight A match on Thursday, March 28. Middletown will face a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 13-0 non-league loss to Odessa (Townsend, DE). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 0-2.
With the loss, Mount Pleasant falls to 2-1 on the campaign. The Green knights travel to Odyssey Charter (Wilmington, DE) to face the Owls in a non-league match on Wednesday, March 27. The Owls enter the match with a record of 2-0. Odyssey Charter won 16-0 in their recent league match against ASPIRA Charter (Newark, DE)
