Delaware High School Softball - Middletown bounces Christiana
May 9, 2024: Middletown, DE 19709 Middletown Cavaliers (Middletown, DE) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Christiana Vikings (Newark, DE), 11-1 in a non-league challenge.
The Cavaliers now own a 7-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to St. Georges Tech for a Blue Hen - Flight A challenge on Saturday, May 11. Middletown will battle a Hawks squad coming off a 13-0 non-league loss to Delaware Military Academy (Wilmington, DE). The Hawks record now stands at 7-7.
With the loss, Christiana falls to 11-5 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to William Penn (New Castle, DE) to battle the Colonials in a Blue Hen - Flight A challenge on Tuesday, May 14. The Colonials come into the game with a record of 8-7. William Penn won 12-1 in their recent non-league game against Ursuline Academy (Wilmington, DE)
