In Wednesday's league game, the host Peru Nighthawks baseball team scored a close 11-9 victory over the Saranac Spartans.

The Nighthawks (13-1) will now prepare for their game against Saranac Lake (Saranac Lake, NY). The Red Storm enter the Section 7 Champlain Valley I game with a 3-3 record. In their last game, Saranac Lake held off Northern Adirondack (Ellenburg Depot, NY), 15-10, in a league game.
