The Slippery Rock Rockets (Slippery Rock, PA) baseball trounced the host Titusville Rockets (Titusville, PA), 13-6 in Wednesday's league challenge.

The Rockets now own a 12-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mercer for a non-league challenge on Friday, May 16. Slippery Rock will clash with a Mustangs team coming off a 4-3 league win over West Middlesex (West Middlesex, PA). The Mustangs record now stands at 11-4.

With the defeat, Titusville drops to 15-3 on the year. The Rockets travel to North Star (Boswell, PA) to clash with the Cougars in a non-league challenge on Friday, May 16. The Cougars go into the challenge with a record of 4-13. North Star lost 13-6 in their recent non-league challenge against Conemaugh Township (Davidsville, PA)
