New York High School Softball - Cohoes nudges Albany Academy for Girls
May 15, 2022: Cohoes, NY 12047 Cohoes Tigers (Cohoes, NY) backers exited the stadium thrilled Sunday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Albany Academy for Girls Bears (Albany, NY), 1-0 in a league challenge.
The Tigers now own a 12-7 record. They take the field next when they host Coxsackie-Athens for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 17. Cohoes will face a Indians squad coming off a 13-1 league win over Taconic Hills (Craryville, NY). The Indians record now stands at 3-5.
With the loss, Albany Academy for Girls falls to 7-10 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Tamarac (Troy, NY) to face the Bengals in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 17. The Bengals enter the challenge with a record of 11-5. Tamarac won 4-1 in their recent league challenge against Greenwich (Greenwich, NY)
