Massachusetts High School Softball - Braintree bounces Weymouth
May 15, 2023: Braintree, MA 02184 Spectators at Monday's league match between the Braintree Wamps (Braintree, MA) and the visiting Weymouth Wildcats (South Weymouth, MA), witnessed Braintree's softball squad prevail over Weymouth by a count of 13-3.
The Wamps now sport a 10-5 record. They play next when they travel to Needham for a Bay State - Carey match on Wednesday, May 17.
With the loss, Weymouth moves to 0-4 on the season. The Wildcats host Wellesley (Wellesley, MA) to face the Raiders in a non-league match on Thursday, May 18. The Raiders go into the match with a record of 1-3.
