Michigan High School Baseball - Lincoln nips Monroe
May 15, 2024: Ypsilanti, MI 48197 Lincoln Railsplitters (Ypsilanti, MI) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting Monroe Trojans (Monroe, MI), 6-5 in a non-league test.
With the win, Lincoln upgrades its record to 18-10 on the season. The Railsplitters travel to Bloomfield Hills (Bloomfield Hills, MI) to battle the Black Hawks in a non-league test on Thursday, May 16. The Black Hawks come into the test with a record of 13-17. Bloomfield Hills won 3-1 in their recent non-league test against Clarkston (Clarkston, MI)
With the defeat, Monroe falls to 7-13 on the season. The Trojans host University of Detroit Jesuit (Detroit, MI) to battle the Cubs in a non-league test on Saturday, May 18. The Cubs come into the test with a record of 11-7.
