May 15, 2024: Harwich, MA 02645 The crowd at Wednesday's non-league match between the Monomoy Sharks (Harwich, MA) and the visiting Dennis-Yarmouth Regional Dolphins (South Yarmouth, MA), saw Monomoy's softball squad achieve victory over Dennis-Yarmouth Regional by a count of 18-6.
The Sharks now sport a 12-1 record. They take the field next when they host Wareham for a non-league match on Monday, May 20. Monomoy will face a Vikings squad coming off a 16-1 non-league win over St. John Paul II (Hyannis, MA). The Vikings record now stands at 1-2.
With the loss, Dennis-Yarmouth Regional falls to 1-4 on the campaign. The Dolphins host Falmouth (Falmouth, MA) to face the Clippers in a Atlantic Coast - Pilgrim match on Friday, May 17. The Clippers enter the match with a record of 10-5. Falmouth won 12-1 in their recent league match against Nauset Regional (North Eastham, MA)
