Virginia High School Softball - Petersburg can't get by John Marshall
May 15, 2024: Richmond, VA 23227 In Wednesday's non-league contest, the John Marshall Justices (Richmond, VA) softball team held off the visiting Petersburg Crimson Wave (Petersburg, VA), by a margin of 13-12.
With the triumph, John Marshall moves its record to 6-7 on the year. The Justices travel to J.R. Tucker (Henrico, VA) to play the Tigers in a Colonial contest on Thursday, May 16. The Tigers come into the contest with a record of 1-15. J.R. Tucker lost 13-1 in their recent league contest against Freeman (Richmond, VA)
In their next game, the Crimson Wave play the Armstrong Wildcats (Richmond, VA) in a non-league contest, on Monday, May 20. Petersburg will attempt to move on its 2-6 season record.
