Maine High School Softball - Temple Academy topped by Vinalhaven
May 15, 2024: Waterville, ME 04901 In Wednesday's league contest, the Vinalhaven Vikings (Vinalhaven, ME) softball team overwhelmed the host Temple Academy Bereans (Waterville, ME), by a margin of 23-15.
With the triumph, Vinalhaven moves its record to 4-6 on the year. The Vikings travel to Richmond (Richmond, ME) to play the Bobcats in a Class D South contest on Saturday, May 18. The Bobcats come into the contest with a record of 5-6. Richmond lost 16-5 in their recent league contest against Buckfield (Buckfield, ME)
In their next game, the Bereans play the Carrabec Cobras (North Anson, ME) in a Class D South contest, on Friday, May 17. Temple Academy will attempt to move on its 0-10 season record. The Cobras come into the contest with a 8-3 record after their 5-1 league win over Forest Hills (Jackman, ME).
