In Thursday's non-league bout, the Riverheads Gladiators (Staunton, VA) baseball squad overwhelmed the host Buffalo Gap Bison (Swoope, VA), by a count of 18-7.

The Gladiators now own a 14-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Fort Defiance for a non-league test on Tuesday, May 20. Riverheads will clash with a Indians team coming off a 6-5 non-league loss to Wilson Memorial (Fishersville, VA). The Indians record now stands at 8-10.
