The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Deer Creek-Mackinaw Chiefs (Mackinaw, IL) and the visiting Delavan Panthers (Delavan, IL), observed Deer Creek-Mackinaw's softball team get by Delavan by a tally of 7-2.

The Chiefs (15-11) will now prepare for their bout against Fisher (Fisher, IL). The Bunnies go into the non-league bout with a 13-11 record. In their last bout, Fisher tipped Georgetown-Ridge Farm (Georgetown, IL), 8-3, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Panthers meet the PORTA/Ashland-Chandlerville Central Bluejays (Petersburg, IL) in a non-league test, on Friday, May 16.
