In Thursday's non-league test, the Montgomery County Indians (Mt. Sterling, KY) softball squad the host Western Hills Wolverines (Frankfort, KY), by a count of 7-3.

Next, the Indians meet the Estill County Engineers (Irvine, KY) in a non-league test, on Friday, May 16. Montgomery County will attempt to upgrade on its 17-5 season record. The Engineers go into the test with a 17-9 record after their 5-4 non-league loss to North Laurel (London, KY).

The Wolverines (8-22) will now prepare for their test against Mercer County (Harrodsburg, KY). The Titans go into the non-league test with a 13-14 record. In their last test, Mercer County was routed by Marion County (Lebanon, KY), 13-7, in a non-league test.
