The Bloomington Purple Raiders baseball squad (Bloomington, IL), was overwhelmed 11-0 in Friday's league contest with the host Normal Community Ironmen (Normal, IL)

With the triumph, Normal Community moves its record to 29-2 on the season. The Ironmen host East Peoria (East Peoria, IL) to confront the Raiders in a non-league contest on Saturday, May 16. The Raiders come into the contest with a record of 18-11. East Peoria lost 6-5 in their recent non-league contest against St. Joseph-Ogden (St. Joseph, IL)

The Purple Raiders now possess a 10-19 record. They put it on the line next when they host Normal Community for a Big Twelve contest on Monday, May 18.
