The Chalker Wildcats softball squad (Southington, OH), was routed 8-5 in Friday's league contest with the visiting Badger Braves (Kinsman, OH)

With the triumph, Badger improves its record to 12-6 on the year. The Braves host Lowellville (Lowellville, OH) to face the Rockets in a non-league contest on Monday, May 18. The Rockets enter the contest with a record of 7-10. Lowellville won 18-6 in their recent non-league contest against Western Reserve (Berlin Center, OH)

The Wildcats now hold a 9-5 record. They play next when they host Maplewood for a Northeastern Athletic contest on Saturday, May 16. Chalker will face a Rockets squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Edgewood (Ashtabula, OH). The Rockets record now stands at 23-1.
