Lewiston-Porter Lancers (Youngstown, NY) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting North Tonawanda Lumberjacks (North Tonawanda, NY), 8-5 in a league test.

With the win, Lewiston-Porter upgrades its record to 9-8 on the season. The Lancers travel to Lockport (Lockport, NY) to battle the Lions in a NFL test on Thursday, May 19. The Lions come into the test with a record of 10-6.

With the defeat, North Tonawanda falls to 2-6 on the season.
