The Bucs (14-8) will now prepare for their battle against Jefferson (Rockford, IL). The J-Hawks go into the Northern Illinois NIC-9 battle with a 5-12 record. In their last battle, Jefferson nudged Boylan Catholic (Rockford, IL), 21-1, in a league battle.
The Pretzels now sport a 15-11 record. They play next when they travel to Harlem for a Northern Illinois NIC-9 battle on Wednesday, May 18. Freeport will meet a Huskies squad coming off a 5-3 non-league loss to Dundee-Crown (Carpentersville, IL). The Huskies record now stands at 15-11.
