Illinois High School Softball - Wheaton North bounces Geneva
May 16, 2022: Geneva, IL 60134 Wheaton North Falcons (Wheaton, IL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Geneva Vikings (Geneva, IL), 13-1 in a league challenge.
The Falcons now sport a 9-9 record. They take the field next when they host St. Charles East for a DuKane challenge on Wednesday, May 18. Wheaton North will face a Fighting Saints squad coming off a 10-0 league win over Batavia (Batavia, IL). The Fighting Saints record now stands at 23-4.
With the loss, Geneva falls to 1-22 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Lake Park (Roselle, IL) to face the Lancers in a DuKane challenge on Wednesday, May 18. The Lancers enter the challenge with a record of 15-10. Lake Park lost 5-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Lockport (Lockport, IL)
