May 16, 2022: Marshfield, MA 02050 The Plymouth North Eagles (Plymouth, MA) softball nipped the host Marshfield Rams (Marshfield, MA), 8-7 in Monday's non-league bout.
The Eagles (13-1) will now prepare for their bout against Duxbury (Duxbury, MA). The Dragons go into the Patriot - Keenan bout with a 2-11 record. In their last bout, Duxbury was edged by Silver Lake Regional (Kingston, MA), 23-0, in a league bout.
The Rams now possess a 7-9 record. They play next when they host Whitman-Hanson Regional for a non-league bout on Tuesday, May 17. Marshfield will confront a Panthers squad coming off a 7-6 league loss to Hingham (Hingham, MA). The Panthers record now stands at 5-9.
