New York High School Softball - Central Valley Academy bounces Holland Patent
May 16, 2023: Holland Patent, NY 13354 Central Valley Academy Thunder (Ilion, NY) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Holland Patent Golden Knights (Holland Patent, NY), 15-0 in a league challenge.
The Thunder now sport a 8-10 record. They take the field next when they host Little Falls for a non-league challenge on Friday, May 19. Central Valley Academy will face a Mounties squad coming off a 9-7 non-league win over Sauquoit Valley (Sauquoit, NY). The Mounties record now stands at 8-10.
With the loss, Holland Patent falls to 4-10 on the campaign. The Golden knights travel to Notre Dame (Utica, NY) to face the Jugglers in a Section 3 Tri-Valley challenge on Thursday, May 18. The Jugglers enter the challenge with a record of 11-5. Notre Dame won 6-3 in their recent league challenge against Oneida (Oneida, NY)
