Pennsylvania High School Softball - Leechburg bounces South Side
May 16, 2023: Hookstown, PA 15050 Spectators at Tuesday's non-league match between the Leechburg Blue Devils (Leechburg, PA) and the host South Side Rams (Hookstown, PA), witnessed Leechburg's softball squad tip South Side by a count of 7-1.
The Blue Devils now sport a 6-5 record. They play next when they travel to Carmichaels for a non-league match on Thursday, May 18. Leechburg will face a Mighty Mikes squad coming off a 18-0 league win over Mapletown (Greensboro, PA). The Mighty Mikes record now stands at 16-0.
With the loss, South Side moves to 2-5 on the season.
