Virginia High School Softball - Orange County bounces Charlottesville
May 16, 2024: Orange, VA 22960 Orange County Fighting Hornets (Orange, VA) fans exited the stadium satisfied Thursday as they witnessed their softball squad prevail over the visiting Charlottesville Black Knights (Charlottesville, VA), 10-0 in a league match.
The Fighting Hornets now sport a 16-3 record.
With the loss, Charlottesville moves to 0-19 on the season. The Black knights host Western Albemarle (Crozet, VA) to meet the Warriors in a Jefferson match on Friday, May 17. The Warriors go into the match with a record of 7-12. Western Albemarle won 8-2 in their recent league match against Albemarle (Charlottesville, VA)
