May 16, 2024: Albany, NY 12205 Spectators at Thursday's non-league match between the Saratoga Springs Blue Streaks (Saratoga Springs, NY) and the host Colonie Central Raiders (Albany, NY), witnessed Saratoga Springs's softball squad prevail over Colonie Central by a count of 8-0.
The Blue Streaks now sport a 4-11 record. They play next when they travel to Shenendehowa for a non-league match on Tuesday, May 21. Saratoga Springs will face a Plainsmen squad coming off a 6-1 league win over Bethlehem Central (Delmar, NY). The Plainsmen record now stands at 16-2.
With the loss, Colonie Central moves to 7-8 on the season.
