The Monroe Central Seminoles baseball team scored 4 runs and held the visiting Barnesville Shamrocks to 3 in the Seminoles non-league win on Friday.

The Seminoles now hold a 9-17 record. They take the field next when they host Malvern for a non-league test on Monday, May 19. Monroe Central will play a Hornets team coming off a 9-2 non-league win over Aquinas (Louisville, OH). The Hornets record now stands at 9-14.
