The Reed-Custer Comets triumphed over the host Prairie Central Hawks baseball squad by a score of 16-1 in Friday's non-league outing.

Next up, the Comets battle the Coal City Coalers (Coal City, IL) in a non-league outing, on Thursday, May 22. Reed-Custer will attempt to advance on its 16-12 season record.

The Hawks (6-23) will now prepare for their outing against Deer Creek-Mackinaw (Mackinaw, IL). The Chiefs come into the non-league outing with a 15-15 record. In their last contest, Deer Creek-Mackinaw beat Fieldcrest (Minonk, IL), 6-2, in a non-league contest.
