Rhode Island High School Softball - Paul Cuffee sneaks past Woonsocket
May 16, 2025: Providence, RI The Paul Cuffee softball team scored 1 runs and held the visiting Woonsocket Villa Novans to 0 in the non-league win on Friday.
The now sport a 2-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Classical for a Division 3 battle on Monday, May 19. Paul Cuffee will confront a Purple team coming off a 16-4 league loss to Davies Career & Tech (Lincoln, RI). The Purple record now stands at 9-4.
With the loss, Woonsocket moves to 2-13 on the season. The Villa novans host South Kingstown (Wakefield, RI) to confront the Rebels in a Division 2 battle on Monday, May 19. The Rebels come into the battle with a record of 6-12. South Kingstown lost 5-2 in their recent league battle against East Greenwich (East Greenwich, RI)
