The St. Mary Cathedral Eagles baseball team scored 10 runs and held the host Holton Red Devils to 8 in the Eagles non-league win on Saturday.

The Eagles now own a 12-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mancelona for a Ski-Valley test on Wednesday, May 20.

With the defeat, Holton drops to 8-12 on the year. The Red devils host Mason County Central (Scottville, MI) to play the Spartans in a West Michigan Conference - Rivers test on Tuesday, May 19. The Spartans go into the test with a record of 9-11. Mason County Central won 14-7 in their recent league test against Hart (Hart, MI)
