Winthrop Ramblers (Winthrop, ME) fans left the game pleased Saturday as they observed their baseball squad nip the visiting Mount Abram Roadrunners (Strong, ME), 6-5 in a league match.

With the triumph, Winthrop advances its record to 4-6 on the season. The Ramblers host Spruce Mountain (Jay, ME) to battle the Phoenix in a non-league match on Tuesday, May 19. The Phoenix come into the match with a record of 2-7. Spruce Mountain lost 7-3 in their recent non-league match against Traip (Kittery, ME)

The Roadrunners now have a 2-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hall-Dale for a Class C South match on Monday, May 18. Mount Abram will battle a Bulldogs squad coming off a 13-3 non-league win over Spruce Mountain (Jay, ME). The Bulldogs record now stands at 5-6.
